Cynthia Hofmann, CN, LMT, NTP is owner and Senior Clinician at the Well of Life Center in Springtown, PA

Before the inception of the Well of Life Center, Cynthia Hofmann was a longtime massage therapist and nutritionist. While on a trip across the country in 2002, unknown to her, she picked up a water-born parasite. Diagnosed as ulcerative colitis and cancer of the colon in September 2002, she fell extremely ill, ended up weighing only 85 pounds and bedridden for the better part of the following year, with surgery for the removal of a large section of her colon recommended as the only viable course of action.
Relying on her core understanding of the body, she contacted her mentors in the field of natural healing who then pointed her in the direction of a holistic specialist.

The specialist told her she had been infected by one of the deadliest of parasites – cryptosporidium parvum – and was on her way out of the world unless she took immediate action. After taking one of only a few drugs (poisons) from Germany that might be able to kill this type of parasite, she summoned her will and relied on her belief that her body, given the right instruction and assistance, could then heal itself.

She had to endure several near bouts with death during the process, but she won the fight.
“I have been given the gift of healing over the years, and put to the test myself,” Cynthia said. “I have no option but to share the blessing with others.” As someone who values the Biblical directive of seeking wisdom, Cynthia continues to enrich her understanding of the way God designed the body and looks at continued education as a necessary part in becoming the type of Practitioner that her personal journey merited.
