| We have experienced our first heavy snowfalls of the season here in Utah! The beautiful snowcapped mountains outside my window beckon me to get out and play! And Thanksgiving is right around the corner which reminds me to pause and reflect on what I am grateful for today and the year. One thing I am grateful for is that I get to tell you all about what is happening here at Systemic Formulas. We have a lot of gratitude for all that has taken place this year so far and for what is in store for next year!

WARM WINTER CHILI
The onset of winter calls us closer to the warm hearths of our homes. Generally colder temperatures, burning wood fires and snowy evenings beg us to snuggle up with all things warm: blankets, loved ones, and bowls of hot soothing goodness. This month we have a warm, winter recipe to get you all the protein and veggies that warrant a tasty bowl of chili! This recipe comes from book The Pro-Vita Plan by Dr. Jack Tips. Many of these recipes were adapted from Doc’s wealth of cooking expertise. He loved sprouting beans before eating them to increase their digestibility – this recipe requires sprouting the beans, so plan ahead and soak the beans for 2 days prior to completing this chili.
